Julien le Jeune d'Allegeershecque
CROPSNet Coordinator
Julien has been involved in online PGT teaching since 2019, initially working on the ODL MSc in Global Mental Health, and then the MSc in Digital Health Interventions, both at the University of Glasgow. Since 2022, he has been a Teaching Fellow on the online MSc in Health Policy at the Institute of Global Health Innovation.
He is passionate about improving online PGT practices, both from a student experience and a pedagogical perspective.

Research Lead
Dr Christa Hansen is a Health Economist at Imperial College London, and a Teaching Fellow in the Institute for Global Health Innovation.
She is a member of the Centre for Health Economics & Policy Innovation (CHEPI) at Imperial College Business School and the Centre for Teaching and Learning Economics (CTaLE) at UCL.
Christa is passionate about the pastoral care of students, specifically in Blended and Online Postgraduate Taught settings.

Events Lead
Joe is a Teaching Fellow at the Institute of Global Health Innovation, tutoring across three different online PG courses.
He has been involved in delivering PGT and PGR courses for over 25 years, formerly as Head of Department for Critical & Historical Studies at the Royal College of Art.
His central ambition is to ensure that students with disabilities and/or learning differences are properly supported and nurtured within online PG programmes.
He received the Department of Surgery and Cancer Award for Supporting the Student Experience in 2024.

Membership Information
CROPSNet membership is open to any individual who is involved in the planning, delivery, and teaching of online postgraduate programmes. There are no geographical restrictions - the aim is for CROPSNet to be a hub for online PGT professionals around the world! There are no costs associated with applying for CROPSNet membership or being a CROPSNet member.
Joining CROPSNet can be beneficial in many different ways:
