The inaugural CROPSNet Conference will take place on Friday the 12th of September 2025 between 09:30-17:00.
It will be a hybrid conference hosted at the Sir Michael Uren Hub in Imperial's White City Campus (note: while we will do our best to make online attendance a possibility for all of the conference sessions, certain sessions may only be available to in-person attendees).
The title of the conference is “Driving Progress in Online Postgraduate Taught Education”.
Abstract Submission
DEADLINE: Friday the 8th of August 2025
We are currently welcoming submission of abstracts for the conference! We invite contributors to submit abstracts for sessions in all areas relevant to online postgraduate learning and teaching, including pedagogy & course design, administration, student recruitment, policy & strategy, & digital technology. This is not an exhaustive list - if you are unsure if your topic is a good fit, don’t hesitate to get in touch. Student contributions are very welcomes.
Sessions can take the following formats:
Lecture (1 hour)
Lightning Talk (15 minutes)
Workshops
Panel discussions
Guided Demos
Virtual Poster Presentation
Innovative session designs are also welcome!

Conference Registration - NOW OPEN
Registration for the inaugural CROPSNet Conference is now open! The event is free to attend, and participants can join either in person or online.
Please note: while we aim to offer hybrid access where possible, some sessions may only be available to in-person attendees.
We welcome registrations from anyone with an interest in online postgraduate taught (PGT) education - including teaching and administrative staff, learning technologists, educational managers and directors, and of course, students.
